yes but it will require more practice than just learning the Syntax

Can some one develope software after learning C#?
I've been programming in C# for about two years, now. My prior twenty plus years were in C/C++. These languages all share a common syntax and grammar. C# is a .NET based language so you need to understand a good deal about .NET. It is the basis for several languages including C#, Java#, Managed C++ and Visual Basic .NET. So, once you understand the .NET Framework it's pretty easy to move among those languages.

Much software is being written in .NET Framework these days.
Reply:Also if you want to develop Windows applications, you are better learn the .Net framework as C# alone won't be enough.
