If you want your basics clear, start programming in Linux/Unix environment. Linux has all the compilers and IDE's for C/C++.
Start with "C++ Complete Reference" by Herbert Schildt.
I want to learn c++ at home. what software and videos should i download. i have limewire.?
You can't really download any off of limewire to help you. I suggest the book, C++ For Dummies... And yes it is a real book.
Reply:Turbo C++ or Linux or Unix environment is good!!
Reply:No need to use any video.
If you really want to learn C++, just go through Google Search and it will display a plenty of sites that you can use to learn it.
Happy Programming!
