What is the best software used for c language? & please inform website name?

What is the best software used for c language? %26amp; please inform website name?
Compiler? Editor? Unified system?

What target? Unix, Windows?

Development or applications?
Reply:For learning? By the sound of this newbie questioning I am assuming such.

Then Borland Turbo C for DOS is good, but expect nothing beyond using it for learning purpose. A self-study copy of this tool was often found in books of its time.
Reply:I think that a good C compiler is watcom C/C++ ...

you can get a free copy from http://www.openwatcom.org
